VND 600 million was granted to Quang Tri Province
Such funding will be divided into 12 gratitude houses (VND 50 million per each) for the family whose the invalid and martyrs devoted to the Vietnam War, in which PECC2, Pacific and ATAD contributed respectively 5, 5 and 2.
At the funding presentation ceremony, PECC2 and PACIFIC representatives handed fund to build 10 houses of gratitude, worth VND 500 million, VND 50 million per house, and the two left are the fund of ATAD.
PECC2 and partners not only have contributed to the local socio-economic development through power plants but also frequently have practical action programs in helping the poor households and the ones under preferential treatment to have a shelter, thus promoting community development. In 2016 alone, PECC2 spent more than VND 751 million on doing charity and community support program, including donating to the flood victims in the central provinces, contributing to building the multi-functional cultural house in Truong Sa Islands, building gratitude houses, supporting the poor and disadvantaged, as well as other humanitarian activities.
