EVN highly appreciated the great achievement of DMPP Consortium

Vinh Tan 4 TPP project was invested by EVN and managed by EVNGENCO3 / Vinh Tan Thermal Power Project Management Board, being one of the major projects of the Government under the Power Development Plan VII. Applying the most modern technology in Vietnam, with a total installed capacity of 1,200 MW (2 Units), Vinh Tan 4 TPP is the first large-scale coal-fired power plant in Vietnam using supercritical steam boiler technology.

With the commitment to synchronize the first Unit on December 31^st 2017 and the second one on June 30^th 2018, the DMPP Consortium have implemented the project with great determination right from the beginning stage. In the project implementation, the excellent capability of a professional EPC Consortium has been demonstrated, proving the efficient organization and work assignment, the harmonious coordination between the international prestigious contractors of Doosan and Mitsubishi with the domestic leading contractors of PECC2 and Pacific. Many important items in the project have been fulfilled by these two domestic contractors in full satisfaction to the stringent requirements of Doosan and Mitsubishi, as well as of the Consultant and the Owner. The success of the Vinh Tan 4 TPP project also indicates the successful realization of the Vietnamese Government's Localization Program in power plants as PECC2 has been transferred with and gradually mastering advanced technology from design to manufacture of various important systems, such as Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP), Coal Handling System (CHS), etc.
