Image of concrete pumping for the chimney foundation of Vinh Tan 4 Extension TPP Project
The chimney item is a component package in the EPC project for the construction of Vinh Tan 4 Extension TPP, which was undertaken by EVNPECC2, a member of the consortium of contractors. With the height of 213.5m and a diameter of 6.35 m, the chimney is an important item of the plant. Exhaust emissions contained such dangerous gas and dust are filtered through the systems of Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP) and only small amount of dust, about 0.03% getting out of the chimney. Besides that, at the high altitude of over 200m, dust from the chimney will be diffused without compromising on air quality and fully meets the requirements of national technical standards for industrial exhaust gas of thermal power plants. The completion of concreting the chimney foundation on schedule is an important step to ensure the progress of the overall project as well as soon put the plant in to operation by the end of 2019.
Here are the following pictures of pumping the chimney concrete foundation:
