The extension of Vinh Tan 4 thermal power plant is one of the urgent projects contributing to solving the electricity shortage for the South after 2020 of the Government, invested by EVN, EVNGENCO 3 is implementing the Project Management Consultancy. The project is represented by the Management Board of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Project, with a total investment of over VND 23,000 billion, a total installed capacity of 600 MW (1x600 MW), an electricity output of about 3.6 billion kWh/year. This project is of great significance, marking a new development step of Vietnam's electricity industry with some outstanding features such as the first large-scale use of coal using supercritical steam parameters built in Vietnam. Vietnam, the localization rate is high, the first large-scale thermal power plant project is chaired by a Vietnamese consultant.
